Severstal has ordered a third Parsytec surface inspection system, now for their Hot Strip Mill #2000 in Cherepovets, Russia.
Parsytec already supplied a surface inspection system (SIS) for Severstal’s pickle line #3. Both systems at Cherepovets enable to interchange quality information and thus support building a mill-wide inspection infrastructure. The decision for a SIS by Parsytec is based on Parsytec’s outstanding experiences in hot strip mill
inspection and superior technology.
