Kaohsiung China Steel Corporation, Taiwan, has completed the start-up of a 200 t/h walking beam reheating furnace for billets in the new rolling mill.
The new fuel-efficient furnace is equipped with Tenova’s low NOx burners as well as with an advanced thermal model-based Level 2 control system.
The first billet has been processed in accordance with the scheduled program.
