         a Bit of Art
Kerstin Garbracht:
Madeleine Dietz: Sustainability in art - treasure box earth
May 10, 2006
Madeleine Dietz is attracted by two materials, earth and steel. She likes to combine them in various manners, to ever new works of art. Some of these space installations were intended for sacral buildings or, shall we say, as a sacral building?
Titles like Treasure Box, Safe, Unlocked - Locked, May be..., she bestowed upon her sculptures simultaneously reveal and mask - or shall I better say cloud to point at the role of light she never tired of playing around with.
