Shree Precoated Steels Limited commissioned its second colour coating line on 4th April 2006. It represents the world’s first coating line with full-scale nir oven curing technology for the integrated process of chem-coating drying, prime oven and finish oven for curing with a regenerative thermal oxidiser (RTO) for solvent treatment. The line features one prime, two back and three finish top coaters including a T-coater with auto position and pressure control system with high tension strip dynamics with complement of seven double roll steering devices and centering controls with tension leveller and load cells, double loop tower and a pair of uncoiler and reels. This layout makes the facility designed for a process speed of 180 m/min a classic state-of-the-art line for an annual production of 300000 t of colour coated coils.
