worldsteel-43 Beijing 2009: short range outlook for steel demand
43rd annual meeting of the World Steel Association; updated forecast for world steel demand for 2009 and 2010 based on the work of the Committee on Economic Studies which met in Brussels in the middle of September.
From October 12-14th, 2009, Beijing hostes the 43rd annual meeting of the World Steel Association. After last year´s meeting, when the steel industry worldwide was suddenly subjected to the global financial and economic crises, many have been longing for Ian Christmas´ updated forecast hoping for a better atmosphere.

Read his consensus forecast for world steel demand for 2009 and 2010 based on the work of the Committee on Economic Studies which met in Brussels in the middle of September.
