We feel that in editing a high-quality scientific technical journal we have to meet the highest demands of our readers and authors, and simultaneously we have to do everything to keep the journal up to date. Of course, this highest quality is still the target we will continue to work for. STEEL GRIPS - journal of steel and related materials is the new focus of our work. At a first glance it is characterised as follows: - English language - distributed worldwide - REVIEWED by an international Scientific Circle to get a high Science Citation Index - bimonthly/6 issues a year etc. etc.

What makes STEEL GRIPS different from other technical journals? STEEL GRIPS links all those working with steel, no matter whether they work at a university, research institute or in a steelworks plant. Nobody is an island, so STEEL GRIPS - journal of steel and related materials will focus a certain topic from various points of view. Read and discuss the problems, opinions and findings of researchers, operational plant engineers, customers and even product suppliers.

Steel and related materials? We feel that a future-oriented journal dealing with steel should not exclude other materials, because in every modern product application you will find a mix of several materials. And a steelworks´ by-products are more and more representing an added value in being recycled.
