Plate mill revamping at Bhilai Steel Plant, India

The turnkey project consists in the supply of a new level 1 system and a new level 2 mathematical models for mill setup and Plan View Rolling (PVR) as well as a new Hydraulic Gap Control with related hydraulic units and hydraulic cylinders installation on the existing stands. The automation system will be based on Danieli Automation HiPAC system.
The revamping of the Motor Generator Set and other drives will also be provided by Danieli Automation which will supply and coordinate all the activities related to the turnkey job together with GA Danieli India (a sister company of Danieli Group), The project completion date is June 2006.
