Two cold models were employed to simulate the formation of slag droplets in a gas-stirred ladle. How do gas flow rate and interfacial tension between bath liquid and top liquid effect droplet size?
Further, a semi-empirical model was developed to describe the size of the droplets of the water model. What else can it be used for with reasonably good agreement?
